Why are we using layout instead of direct plot in AutoCAD?
Answer:
We are using layout instead of direct plot in AutoCAD because we can make a lot of Views for one drawing using Layout which are draw in Model space suppose we need more views for one drawing then we just need to right click on model space tab on the bottom and click on new layout (see image 1) and just double click on our rectangle area and set our view in layout. We can also put different-different views in one layout and don’t need to do copy of original drawing so that the size of file will not increase. Other benefit of using layout is that when we will change something in model space our layout drawing will automatic updated.
We are also using layout to add drawing
details like that title block, drawing title, drawings Number, Sheet Number,
Notes, Legend, Keyplan, Checked By, Approved By, Design By, Drawn By.
Some drawing details always need changes
for Each Drawing Sheets, We can make some notes on single layout which will not
effect to other sheet or model space Drawings.
