There are no limitation to be planned area in autocad because autocad provide a model space where we can draw any drawings with any length and depth, here you can zoom in and zoom out to view your drawing while the quality of your drawing will not destroy with infinite zoom in.
If you have to much long area then you can also make your drawing with scaling factor.
